INFORMATION
The Charles Shelton Foundation provides two non-renewable $2,000 award offered annually.

Once the scholarship recipients have enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education and submitted proof of enrollment to the sponsor, the scholarships will be awarded in the form of a check made payable to the institution attended by the scholarship recipient.
​
The scholarship recipient must submit proof of enrollment on or before 31 August. The scholarship is awarded in split disbursements (1 September and 1 January). In the event of a tie, the scholarship will be split between the top two applicants.
REQUIREMENTS

Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and provide an official copy of your transcript in a sealed envelope

Black African-American graduating HS senior, current college student or returning college student.

Must be a legal U.S. resident

Must be a resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia

Complete the Veterinary Scholarship Form

Provide two professional references from Professors that speak directly to your experience in Veterinary Medicine or Technology. One letter should be from a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professor.

Provide proof of full-time enrollment in a college or university
